The project proposes a simple, compact volume that is well integrated into the orographic context of Scena, adapting to the terrain’s slopes and existing structures. The building is arranged over three above-ground floors and one underground level for parking and services, with barrier-free pedestrian access. Its form engages in dialogue with the boundary wall, creating a bright private courtyard and a multifunctional communal space for play and relaxation. The architectural strategy enhances solar orientation: living areas face west to maximize natural light, while bedrooms face east to ensure peace and privacy. Outdoor spaces are designed to foster connections between new and existing structures, including play areas and bicycle parking. The façades, clad in glass mosaic, feature a vibrant, ever-changing appearance, echoing the stone walls of local terracing. The materials chosen are natural, durable, and recyclable, with particular attention to long-term sustainability and resilience. The project incorporates minimum environmental criteria (CAM), with a strong focus on material circularity, sustainable land use, and emissions reduction. A maintenance and disassembly plan ensures the reuse and recycling of materials at the end of the building's lifecycle.
